"Preface The preparation of the third edition of this book has involved a number of major changes. First, we have taken on a new coauthor, Roger Ho. Roger has relatively recent experience of preparing for and sitting the examinations of the membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is actively involved in teaching candidates based in Singapore. Second, we have added new chapters and, within existing chapters, we have included new material (including NICE guidelines), updated the DSM-IV-TR criteria to those of the forthcoming DSM-5, and cited more recent references.
