Summary: On the 6th February, 1990 the Minister for Health, Dr. Rory O'Hanlon T.D., announced an Action Programme for' the Health Services for 1990 and beyond. The Action Programme included a Dublin Hospitals Initiative - to improve the integration and efficiency of the acute Dublin hospital services. This report includes a number of measures to improve the co-ordination of hospital services and to improve the integration of hospital and other services.
